Adolescent girls needed for dysmenorrheal (pelvic pain) research study

Paige Hertweck, M.D., department of OB/GYN, division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, 550 S. Jackson St., is conducting a research study to determine if taking an oral contraceptive pill is effective in treating dysmenorrhea (pelvic pain) in adolescent girls age 12-18. Those who qualify will receive study-related medical exams, study drug and up to $50 compensation at each visit.
